In the SmartLivingNEXT ecosystem, value is not created through individual applications or products, but through the interaction of data, AI and networked players. Digital service providers and manufacturers of physical components can develop scalable services and new business models on this basis without having to replace existing systems. A special feature of SmartLivingNEXT is the federated, equal networking of all participants. Instead of selective integration of individual applications, systems or buildings, SmartLivingNEXT creates a low-threshold infrastructure in which players become part of a common system as data or service providers as well as users. ForeSightNEXT: The flagship project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the SmartLivingNEXT technology program, a flagship project and several associated research projects are working together to create a sustainable smart living ecosystem based on a common technological foundation. The aim is not to develop individual solutions, but to create a scalable system architecture for networked buildings and data-based services. The ForeSightNEXT flagship project is developing and testing the central structures, methods and basic services for this. The associated SmartLivingNEXT projects take up these systemic foundations, apply them in specific use cases and drive their further development in real-life operation. <\/p>\n\n\n\nAbout SmartLivingNEXT flagship project\u2192<\/span><\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

BIM-4-CARE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

BIM-4-CARE records and harmonizes the knowledge gained from experience in care and the various perspectives of relevant stakeholders in home redesign. COMET<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The COMET project, which is part of the flagship project, collects labeled user data and develops a crowdsourcing app that enables the management of data access authorizations and data provision. DuITeasy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The project focuses on the development of an Assistance Dataspace (ADS), as well as applications and basic services based on it. This ADS contains all the data, interfaces and systems required for individual assistance services. The everyday assistance use case uses the ADS to implement internal and external services and integrates a wide variety of system environments for this purpose. ExpliCareNEXT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The focus of ExpliCareNEXT is on simplifying care processes through digital artificial assistance, which enables unskilled workers to perform high-quality care activities. FAME4ME<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

FAME4ME analyzes the possibilities of using AI-supported algorithms for sustainable energy management in smart living and building environments. In particular, we are investigating how different user groups react to individualized dynamic electricity tariffs. The project supports the overarching climate neutrality goals, the efficient use of resources and applications of innovative digitalization technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAbout FAME4ME\u2192<\/span><\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

GAiST<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In GAiST, 500 apartments are expected to be equipped with AAL scenarios and a hospital information system (HIS) will be connected to the SmartLivingNEXT platform. In this way, patients, carers and doctors can be supported in their activities to make life in their own four walls more liveable.
