data-aos=\"fade-in-up-small\">\n<h3 class=\"sp-n-4\">Challenge and innovation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The FAME4ME research project is responding to the challenge posed by the changing use of energy applications (e.g. controlling heat pumps, charging electric cars) and the variable availability of energy sources (e.g. wind, solar) in the building sector.\nIntelligent energy management in residential and building environments can help to increase the use of renewable energies through controlled energy consumption or provide flexibility potential for the system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of FAME4ME is therefore to use artificial intelligence to test and improve energy services for private users.\nOne focus is on combining smart meters, energy management and time-variable electricity tariffs.\nThe project will investigate user behavior in relation to flexible electricity consumption and the adaptation of time-variable electricity tariffs.\nThe focus is on improving the benefits and effectiveness of the respective tariffs from the user&#8217;s perspective.\nIn addition, a user-friendly app is being developed that can provide a visualization of generation and consumption forecasts and price signals for electricity use as well as individualized recommendations for action.\nThe aim is to increase energy efficiency and develop a sustainable energy supply.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Linking the platform with the SmartLivingNEXT ecosystem, especially with the Dataspace, allows access to relevant context data such as incentive signals or market information.\nCombining data from different data sources is an important innovation compared to previous solutions.\nAI processes can be used to develop individual energy services based on this data on electricity supply and demand.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"sp-n-4 sp-b-4\">Application and benefits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Real applications (use cases) are analyzed by different user groups in workshops with pilot customers as well as through pilot studies and our own investigations.\nSurveys and analyses of user behavior with certain tariffs should allow conclusions to be drawn about how to improve customer benefits.\nAt the same time, the complete technical implementation at the users&#8217; premises is intended to test and expand interoperability with the various platforms.\nThe continuously generated data will also contribute to the further development of the AI methods used.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"sp-n-4 sp-b-4\">Advantages of FAME4ME<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure is difficult to access, making it impossible to develop AI services for optimal load and tariff determination.<\/td><td>Pre-trained AI algorithms and models as well as a dashboard that provides AI developers and metering point operators with an overview and enables them to offer AI-based services.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>The integration and use of cross-manufacturer smart meter data for services
